Within one mile of the Flats, you will find stores to fill most of your shopping needs such as Wal-Mart, Costco, Albertson's, Home Depot, and Kohl's. Looking for botique shopping instead? You'll find it in St. George’s Historic Main Street and the adjacent Ancestor Square as well as in several nearby art communities. Also available is the Red Cliffs Mall and The Zion Factory Stores offering outlets for Polo Ralph Lauren, Eddie Bauer, Rags and more.

Arts and Culture

St. George has many live theater events including the renowned 2,000-seat Tuacahn Amphitheater. Nestled into the towering red rock cliffs in the region, Tuacahn is home to the summer and fall seasons of “Broadway in the Desert” as well as a wide range of performances. Enjoy nationally known vocalists, musicians and dance companies. The St. George Musical Theater offers ten, theater-in-the-round productions annually. Additional art activities include The Art Festival and the Art Museum. One hour to the north is Cedar City, also known as Festival City, where the Tony-award winning Shakespearean Festival as well as the popular Neil Simon Festival can be found. Many more in-theater or open air symphonic, dance and other live art events can be found in St. George and its surrounding areas.

For larger performances and shows as well as gaming, Mesquite, NV, is a thirty-minute drive and Las Vegas is a two-hour drive to the south on I-15.

Public Transportation

Riding the bus is a great energy saver. St. George has its own public transportation system called SunTran that has a stop right by The Flats!
